Biography Edit

Esprit D'Air (also known as エスプリ デア) is a Japanese metal band formed in 2010.[1]

The band is notable for being the first Japanese-language band to appear on the videogame, Rock Band 3 for the Xbox 360 with their track, 'Shizuku'.[2]

Esprit D'Air enjoyed a couple years of success, performing across the UK and Spain. However, even after successfully releasing The Hunter and Shizuku in 2012, ヨシ (Yosh) could not commit to the band, which left Esprit D'Air to go on hiatus. ヨシ (Yosh) eventually left the band later that year.

In 2013, Esprit D'Air found a new singer コーマ (Coma) and rhythm guitarist 白蓮 (Hakuren). However, due to issues beyond their control, the band split up shortly after their final show at Brighton Japan Festival in the same year.

In 2016, the band reformed and guitarist Kai took the over the role of lead vocalist. They have since toured in the UK and France and released new music.
